Original KISS drummer Peter Criss will join ROB ZOMBIE on stage this Saturday, May 10 Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey to perform a “special song.”
Back in May 2006, Rob Zombie joined original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley and ex-GUNS N’ ROSES axeman Gilby Clarke plus an all-star band consisting of Slash (guitar; VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N’ ROSES), Tommy Lee (drums; MÖTLEY CRÜE), and Scott Ian (bass; ANTHRAX) to perform a rendition of the KISS classic “God Of Thunder” as a tribute to KISS at the “VH1 Rock Honors” event.
Zombie is currently in the midst of a short 12-stop tour that brings him and his band to Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday night (May 9).
Zombie is promoting the upcoming release of his first-ever concert Blu-ray/DVD, “The Zombie Horror Picture Show”, which arrives on May 19.
“The Zombie Horror Picture Show” features Zombie leading his band through longtime favorites like “Living Dead Girl”, “More Human Than Human” and “Dragula” as well as newer songs like “Dead City Radio And The New Gods Of Supertown” and GRAND FUNK RAILROAD‘s “We’re An American Band”.
A photo book by photographer Rob Fenn will be published as a companion piece to the Blu-ray and DVD.
Zombie‘s fifth solo album, “Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor”, came out in April 2013.
